Biography
Jill Oleisky graduated from the William Mitchell College of Law in 1997. She has been representing clients charged with criminal offenses for over 22 years. Jill has represented clients on a multitude of cases, including DWI, assault, drug offenses, theft, fraud and criminal sexual misconduct. She has had numerous court and jury trials in Minnesota. She enjoys advocating for her clients and ensuring for them the best results.
Jill has contracted as a substitute Hennepin County Public Defender since 2014 representing clients charged with misdemeanor and gross misdemeanor offenses
Jill has been involved with many Minnesota bar associations. She is a past chair of the Minnesota State Bar Association Criminal Division, past co-chair of the Hennepin County Bar Association Criminal Section, and 2018-2019 president of the Minnesota Society for Criminal Justice. She is slated to be the 2020-2021 President of the Amdahl Inn of Court.
Jill is the coordinator for the weekly reading program - Everybody Wins Reading Program which pairs up adults to work with second graders in North Minneapolis on their reading skills. Jill has been the coordinator of this program since 2010.
